Overnight violence in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – Two incidents of violence were reported early Saturday morning in the City of Newburgh.

Police radio reports indicated shots were fired after 3 a.m. at South Street near Dubois Street. The report indicates a vehicle was struck.

About a half hour later, an EMS report indicated a person walked into the emergency room of Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital on Dubois Street with a stab wound to the back.
