Labor council backs McElduff for Orange County Surrogate

GOSHEN – The Hudson-Catskill Central Labor Council has endorsed Timothy McElduff, Jr. for Orange County Surrogate Court judge.

McElduff, a Republican, is currently a Wawayanda town justice and has been an attorney for over 20 years.

“We are confident Judge McElduff is the most qualified candidate to preside over the many issues potentially facing the working families throughout Orange County,” said labor council President Sparrow Tobin.

Current Surrogate Judge Robert Onofry, a Republican, will retire at the end of the year under the state’s age limit for county judges.
